MICHAEL ŠUST , a native of the Czech Republic, came to the United States in December 1986 after a dramatic escape from the former communist Czechoslovakia. Formerly an opera singer and music teacher, Michael felt the call to utilize his passion for serving the Lord Jesus Christ through worship by embracing vocational ministry in 1991. For the first fifteen years he served as a music director, evangelist and worship pastor in various Christian churches in Massachusetts and Texas. He is founder and director of the Czech Symphony Project, a non-denominational Christian Ministry facilitating international worship evangelism and student exchange between the United States and the Czech Republic. In September of 2006 as an answer to his ever increasing passion for preaching and teaching the Word, God called Michael to start a new ministry in partnership with the Harvest Bible Fellowship as he became the founding Pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel St. Louis, the first Harvest church plant in the state of Missouri.
Michael is married to his wife of twenty years, Colleen, his sweetheart and indispensable partner in ministry. They have two teen-age daughters, Annie and Christy, and currently reside in Fenton, Missouri.
