The Blindness Part I (9:1-17)

1) Blind Spots  (9:1-7)
-In Christ all our handicaps become opportunities to display the works of God.

2) Blind Identity (9:7-12)
-Walking in the light of Christ means taking on a new identity.  (v. 8)

Three Essentials of a Personal Testimony:
1. Who I was (old identity)
2. What Jesus did to me
3. Who I am now (new identity)
*Note: Change must be visible & permanent

3) Blind Faith (9:13-17)
-A compelling testimony is built on a personal experience of God's power  rather than religious or scholastic data. (v. 15 & 17)

We are sent…
…not if we have no problems
…not in spite of our problems
…but because we have problems!

a. Respond to Jesus
b. Experience Transformation
c. Tell Others
